Jesolo Sand Nativity 2023-2024
Get ready for a unique Christmas adventure that will leave you speechless. From 3 December 2023 to 4 February 2024, the Jesolo Sand Nativity 2023-2024 will open in Piazza Brescia in Jesolo, and what awaits you is true sand magic.
This year, the sand sculpture exhibition has a special touch dedicated to the life of St Francis, the patron saint of Italy. St Francis is the link between Jesolo and Assisi, where on 8 December, the day of the Immaculate Conception, a sand Nativity will be unveiled at the Basilica of St Francis in Assisi.
If you are curious to see this extraordinary work of art, mark Saturday 2 December at 18:00 in your diary, because it is the official inauguration of the Jesolo Sand Nativity 2023-2024.
Here are the opening times and period. The nativity will be open until Sunday 4 February 2024, and the hours are as follows:
- From Monday to Friday, it will be open from 9:30 to 12:30 and then from 14:30 to 19:30.
- On Saturdays, holidays and during the special period from 23 December to 7 January, the crib will be open continuously from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Admission is absolutely free.
For those who want a more in-depth experience, guided tours are available from Monday to Friday, excluding the period from 23 December to 7 January. Simply book in advance by calling the tourist information office on 0421 370601. The cost is €30 for a maximum of 30 people and the visit lasts about 20 minutes. It is a great way to immerse yourself in the history of these extraordinary sand sculptures.
