Winter Holidays

The sea in winter is an enthralling experience for those who enjoy being in direct contact with nature.
Jesolo in this regard offers many accommodation solutions in hotels open all year round.
During the winter you can enjoy the view of a golden beach completely stripped of all the beach umbrellas, sunbeds and tourists that occupy it during the summer. The shore is ideal for long walks lulled by the sound of the waves, for healthy outdoor fitness or for meditating in front of an expanse of water disturbed only in the distance by the occasional fishing boat. You can explore the lagoon during daylight hours on a bike. On warmer days, especially at weekends, it is pleasant to find people playing on the beach with their dogs, with their children or strolling around enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.

You can find shops open especially in the central squares, shopping centres, observe numerous types of fish from all over the world in the large Sealife aquarium, over 400 animal species in the Tropicarium Park and spend a pleasant evening in one of the two theatres on the Lido. Vivaldi Theatre, Pala Arrex. Savour traditional local dishes and get acquainted with wine, finding excellent wine bars and restaurants in the area with taste professionals willing to introduce you to the labels of their cellars.

If you plan your Christmas holidays in Jesolo, you will find a seaside town decorated with lights and traditional trees. There is also a spectacular sand nativity scene, the now famous Sand Nativity, built with huge statues, which has become a tradition and a major tourist attraction for years. The festive atmosphere will culminate with New Year’s Eve, which has been organised for years in Piazza Mazzini, with famous guests from Italian television and one of Italy’s most popular radio stations, Radio Deejay. Finally, on 5 January, the tradition of Pan e Vin, with pinza, mulled wine, hot chocolate, and socks for children is renewed in Jesolo every year. It is a true route through the area with festivities that touch the various areas of the city, in the open air.

The winter season of events in Jesolo will end with Carnival, with various events designed for children and the classic parade of masked floats. A real competition for the most beautiful float with a final prize-giving!
